Overview

The Vera and Joseph Dresner Foundation has awarded Big Green Detroit with a $50,000 grant. The funds will provide support for the programmatic work, staff, tools and supplies, teacher training, workshops, and demonstrations.

Details

Funding will support programming in eight public schools within Detroit, Southfield and Oak Park. And support services and interventions to assist schools in planting, harvesting and consuming Learning Garden produce with their students, including direct support from Big Green staff, materials, and curriculum.
