The Vera and Joseph Dresner Foundation granted City of Hope a $500,000 grant over two years for established investigator Dr. Ling Li.

Details
The goal of Dr. Li’s research project is to understand how miR-126 promotes the MDS HSPCs to acquire additional abnormalities associated with transformation and test if miR-126 inhibitor could suppress evolution of aberrant MDS HSPCs, thereby preventing progression to AML.
