Overview

The Dresner Foundation provided Colorado Association of Black Professional Engineers and Scientists (CABPES) a $10,000 grant to expand their Junior Engineers, Tomorrow’s Scientists (JETS).

Details

JETS engages 5th-12th grade students in 450 hours of premier out-of-school hands-on engineering programs. Students participate in field trips, hands-on projects and educational activities designed to inspire them to pursue post-secondary STEM education and STEM careers. JETS students work with leaders in the engineering field who act as mentors and encourage academic success.
