Overview

The Dresner Foundation provided the Detroit Creativity Project with a $5,000 grant to support their Improv Project: Offering Detroit youth an art-based tool that fosters their social and emotional learning.

Details

The Improv Project is a free, ten-week course offered during and after school to Detroit middle and high schoolers. The funds awarded to the Detroit Creativity Project by the Dresner Foundation will help 150 students from 3 new schools build confidence and develop team work, communication, and problem solving skills through the art of improv.
