Details
Grow Detroit’s Young Talent is a city-wide training and employment program for young adults between the ages of 14 and 24. The program seeks to provide over 8,000 summer employment opportunities in partnership with Metro Detroit corporations, non-profit organizations, municipal departments, local businesses and the philanthropic community.
Funding will fully support wages for approximately 825 GDYT youth ages 14 and 15, in the Police and Fire Cadet Programs. In these programs, youth are introduced to first-time job and career opportunities through community service, team projects, and job shadowing.
