The Vera and Joseph Dresner Foundation has awarded Detroit Employment Solutions Corporation’s Grow Detroit’s Young Talent (GDYT) Program with a $484,348 grant to support youth summer employment with the Junior Police and Fire Cadet Program.

Details
The Junior Police and Fire Cadet program will virtually introduce youth to first-time job and career opportunities through a learning and engagement experience. Funding will fully support $1,000 stipends for approximately 485 GDYT youth ages 14 and 15 for a five-week period.
