Overview
The Vera and Joseph Dresner Foundation has awarded Detroit Zoological Society a $25,000 grant to support an eight-week paid summer internship program for Detroit youth.

Details
Through the program, interns will explore careers in the natural resource and conservation field, discover recreation opportunities, and build their employability skills. Additionally, interns will learn about the ecosystem of Belle Isle and other Michigan outdoor areas, and participate in environmental stewardship training, projects, data collection, and presentations.
