The Vera and Joseph Dresner Foundation awarded Forgotten Harvest a $125,000 grant to support the Healthy Foods, Healthy Kids Summer Feeding and School Pantry Programs.

Details

These two programs will increase access to nutritious, fresh food for food-insecure children living in high poverty. Forgotten Harvest Summer Feeding Program distributes 102,000 lunches to 40 agency partners with summer youth programs and provides 898,000 pounds of additional food via mobile pantry distributions. Its School Pantry Program rescues and distributes 1.5 million pounds of nutritious food to 14 School Pantry partners.
