Overview

The Vera and Joseph Dresner Foundation awarded Forgotten Harvest $125,000 to support its COVID-19 emergency response mobile food distributions.

Details

To address immediate needs of food-insecure metropolitan Detroit residents, Forgotten Harvest will distribute approximately 22 million pounds of nutritious food to 80 tri-county Mobile Food Distribution sites. Each distribution will provide essential nonperishable and fresh food items to approximately 300-750 households.
