The Vera and Joseph Dresner Foundation has awarded Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan $336,000 to support the distribution of food boxes to veterans and their families across metropolitan Detroit.

Details
The emergency food needs of veterans and their families have been elevated throughout the pandemic. To respond to that, Gleaners will provide approximately 2,000 emergency food boxes per month to be distributed at American Legion locations in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb Counties.
