The Dresner Foundation provided Humble Design a $30,000 grant to purchase new beds for 200 children who have exited homeless or domestic violence shelters.

Details

Humble Design helps families transitioning out of homeless and domestic violence shelters by providing furnishings and design services. Humble Design turns an empty house into a clean, dignified and welcoming home. Humble Design works closely with referral shelters prior to and after the initial design services are provided.

The provision of a safe, more stable and permanent home with proper bedding can have a significant impact on a child’s capacity to learn, develop, have better health outcomes, etc.
