The Dresner Foundation provided a $20,000 grant to support the Larandon Hall’s Family Navigator Project which exists within their Family Infant and Toddler Program.

Details

The Family Infant and Toddler Program (FIT) supports families living below the poverty level facing the many economic and cultural challenges that come with having a child with disabilities. FIT offers a range of individualized support services that ensure children can make the necessary progress expected in school and life developmental milestones.

The grant from the Dresner Foundation will help support the Family Navigator, a bilingual individual who will assist families with individualized support ranging from the connection of families with agencies that provide basic needs like food banks and preschool enrollment, to the implementation of inclusive Play-and-Learn groups that create networks and increase toddlers’ social-emotional development.
