The Dresner Foundation provided at $25,000 grant to support access to the arts for youth and children in Southwest Detroit.

Details

The Living Arts Out-of-School program offers a wide array of classes after school and on weekends. These programs  provide an outlet for creative expression in conjunction with positive adult interaction, and students acquire skill sets that will help them succeed in school, work, and life.

Through this grant the Dresner Foundation will help sustain the continued growth of Living Arts’ Out-Of-School program and connect Detroit students with working artists and mentors.
