The Vera and Joseph Dresner Foundation has awarded Maurice & Jane Sugar Law Center for Economic and Social Justice $40,000 to assist vulnerable populations with accessing unemployment assistance and other social safety net programs.

Details
Sugar Law Center’s income security work protects families’ health and well-being, preventing them from entering a cycle of poverty. Support from the Foundation will be used to assist persons with applications for unemployment assistance and other social safety nets that are essential to the preservation of life and health during this crisis and recovery.
