The Dresner Foundation provided Mosaic Youth Theater of Detroit with a $25,000 grant to support their Mosaic Arts Access Initiative.

Details

The Mosaic Youth Ensembles are a comprehensive multi-tiered out-of-school time Creative Youth Development program providing year-round performing arts/life-skills training, performance experience and travel opportunities to underserved teens. The grant awarded by the Dresner Foundation will be directed toward training and travel scholarships which will allow low-income Detroit-area young artists, ages 11-18, to participate in these Creative Youth Development programs. The grant from the Dresner Foundation with help broaden young artist’s horizons and deepen their connection to their own creative community.
