The Vera and Joseph Dresner Foundation awarded Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit a $12,000 grant to support the Teen Council.

Details

MOCAD’s Teen Council helps prepare the next generation of leaders by sharing institutional power with youth to propose, plan, and produce critically reflective and culturally relevant museum events for their peers. Teen Council members then work as a team to produce events such as production-based workshops, Teen Nights, panels, artist talks, youth convergences, and more.
