The Dresner Foundation granted $50,000 to Platteforum to renew and expand existing ArtLab programming.
Details
ArtLab is an innovative year-round, out-of-school paid internship program for at-risk high school youth that integrates the creative process and arts-based learning with academic, life, and professional skill development. Through a competitive application, interns enter the program during their sophomore or junior year and end the summer after their senior year. Personal mentors help interns prepare for and navigate through postsecondary options including college applications.
With support from the Dresner Foundation, Platteforum will be able to expand ArtLab to an additional cohort of interns in the Metro Denver area.
