The Racquet Up Detroit Youth Development Program
The Dresner Foundation provided $50,000 to help expand the Racquet Up Detroit Youth Development Program.
With the support of the Dresner Foundation in 2017, Racquet Up Detroit can expand and develop its academic team to integrate social-emotional support into youth development and educational activities. Simultaneously, Racquet Up will increase the organizational capacity needed for a significant expansion of facilities and transportation in the next three years.
One hundred students from Northwest Detroit will benefit from Racquet Up’s intensive, long term out of school program of academic tutoring, homework help, community service, cultural enrichment, college prep, and quality coaching in the racquet sport of squash.
