Overview

The Vera and Joseph Dresner Foundation provided Winning Futures a $150,000 grant over two years to fund Workforce Prep Pilot Program (WPPP).

Details

Grant funds will support the creation of a new workforce preparation program that will have greater impact as WF transitions from a one-year mentoring program (work with a new cohort of students each year) into a four-year model that supports students from tenth grade through their first year of continuing education. This two-year grant request will enable WF to implement a new program for approximately 500 tenth graders at seven schools during the 2018-2019 school year and 80 eleventh graders at two schools during 2019-2020 school year.
