Home-Delivered Meals for Medically Fragile Adults Under 60
2022 – 2023
The Vera and Joseph Dresner Foundation has awarded Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels a $100,000 grant, over two years, to support meals for homebound, medically fragile adults under the age of 60 in Eastern Washtenaw County.
Support from the Vera and Joseph Dresner Foundation will be directed toward the provision of prepared meals for medically fragile adults under the age of 60. In addition to prepared meals, clients will have access to all of Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels support services, including weekly delivery of fresh produce, pet support, case management by the social work team, and more.
