The Vera and Joseph Dresner Foundation has awarded Lighthouse Michigan a $150,000 grant for direct program costs for its Emergency Food Assistance Program.

Details
From Lighthouse’s warehouse in Pontiac, with the help of volunteers, it packs perishable and non-perishable food items for distribution to food pantries in Pontiac, Clarkston, Southfield, and other agencies located throughout Southeast Michigan. Funding will support direct program costs associated with home distribution including staff, vehicle expenses, the technology that facilitates home delivery, and supplies.
