The Bridge Project College and Career Readiness Program
2017

Overview
The Dresner Foundation provided Bridge Project a $100,000 grant to support The College and Career Readiness Program’s (CCRP) Tech Team.

Details
The goal of the CCRP is to ensure that all Bridge Project students successfully graduate from high school or earn a GED.  The program expands upon these goals by providing students the necessary skills and resources to earn a college or associate degree, gain occupational training, or succeed in employment.

The CCRP serves approximately 60 high school students and 80 scholars enrolled in post-secondary opportunities totaling 140 youth annually.

The CCRP has five main components.  The grant from the Dresner Foundation will support Tech Team one of CCRP’s five main components.   Through Bridge Project, the Tech Team program employs 30 high school students to teach technology classes to elementary school students. This career development program helps high school students develop workforce readiness and career skills.
